Bourbonette is a female crafted bourbon pushing for the future of feminine within the design and advertisement process within bourbon craft. In a male dominated industry where less than eight percent of women are bourbon distillers, I wanted to unite the female population and bourbon by creating a more welcoming environment for women to enjoy a male influenced product. With botanical illustrations, softer color palettes, welcoming typography and feminine representation throughout Bourbonette, this product is directed to all women of legal drinking age, who want to feel empowered and embrace the rich sip of bourbon and feel sexy doing it.
bourbonette was a year long self guided branding project i completed in order to complete my bachelor of fine arts degree from florida southern college. this project came with many hardships professional development including working under a tight budget, planning printed materials out and leaving room for print mistakes, and creating a space in a gallery that reflected my brand well. all senior projects were judged by a panel of proffesionals within lakeland to win a cash prize and recognition for hard work, dedication, and execution of the project. I am honored and humbled to announce bourbonette won first place among my peers.
